Mana Pools National Park

Mana Pools is a remote, beautiful place which has been a well known secret amongst generations of safari enthusiasts. Loved for its magnificent and varied wildlife, spectacular views  and magnificent trees, the park lies on the Zambezi River below Lake Kariba as it wonders down to the Mozambican border.

Mana Pools... the name conjures images of unspoilt bush, water and a vast wilderness. This is a unique destination that allows the intrepid safari goer to get up close and personal to the many species of safari big five wildlife that Zimbabwe is famous for, either on foot, in an open game viewing vehicle or on canoe.  There are no fences, there are no restrictions.

This is not a park for the faint hearted and this is not a park for those who think the Kruger National Park is the last word in wilderness. This is a park for those who enjoy getting into the bush, sleeping close to the Zambezi, experiencing wildlife as it was meant to be experienced: unplugged. There are a select number of luxury lodges within the park plus some more adventurous accommodation options that we have chosen for our safari itineraries.
