SAFARI HIGHLIGHTS:

Day 1 Maun
Scheduled flights from Johannesburg to Maun.
Guests are met at Maun airport and transferred to Audi Camp to overnight. En route to camp guests should purchase their safari drinks requirements.

 

Days 2 - 4: Moremi Game Reserve, camping

Your guide will meet you at 07h30 at a pre-arranged meeting point in Maun. 

From Maun you will drive through to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. 

The next three days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. 

 

A typical day would consist of  a game drive in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets. After your morning game drive guests return to camp for lunch and a leisurely siesta.

 

On day 4 you will move onto to another camp in the Moremi to explore another area of the park. 
 

Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.   

   
The safari package includes
  • Return airfares Johannesburg – Maun and Livingstone Johannesburg.
  • All accommodation (spacious bow tents with mattresses, accommodation in Maun & Livingstone on a bed and breakfast basis.
  • All transfers and activities as per the itinerary, all meals that are indicated (B – breakfast, L –lunch, D – dinner) and tea/coffees.
  • Services of a Professional Guide and Camp Assistant.
  • All Botswana park fees for activities included on itinerary
  • Transport in specialised safari vehicles.

Restaurant meals (Livingstone, Zambia and Maun), entrance to the Falls ($20pp) , park fees for Zambezi cruise ( $10pp)  visas,  tips, curios, optional excursions (scenic flight over the Delta and activities in Livingstone/Victoria Falls,), beverages (alcohol, soft drinks and bottled mineral water), Insurance to cover for cancellation and curtailment, medical, baggage, emergency evacuation, sleeping bag (and small pillow) on all camping sectors.

Distances day 2: Maun – Moremi Game Reserve: 150km, 6hour (including game drive)

 

Days 5-7 Chobe National Park, camping

Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be your next destination.  You travel through the drier region of Savuti reknown for its bull elephants to overnight.  From Savuti you head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will take you along the banks of the river.  Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutions. Day 6: Savuti - Chobe River: 170km, 5hours

 

Days 8  Livingstone, chalet accommodation

After a morning game drive you will cross the Zambezi River by ferry and continue to Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls,
A sundowner cruise on the Zambezi is a tradition, and the one you will enjoy includes drinks, snacks and a light meal.

Overnight at a comfortable lodge. usually The Zambezi Waterfront or similar. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.
 

Day 9
After breakfast set off for your Tour of the Victoria Falls. Park fees are for your own cost and need to be paid for in cash (US$20 pp)
Road transfer to Livingstone airport for return flight to Johannesburg.
