At Imbabala the animals come to you whilst you drift along the Zambezi in a specially designed pontoon, sit quietly in a hide on the floodplain

Game drives in open game viewing vehicle within the concession are undertaken an armed, professional guide.

The birding is unequalled , due to overlaps of certain species from the not too distant Okavango Delta and the variety of habitats along the river.

Chobe National Park is only a couple of kilometres from the lodge. Day safaris into Chobe National Park can be arranged.

Fishing on this stretch of the Upper Zambezi can be very rewarding. Species include Tiger fish, Bream and Talapia.

The services of a specialist fishing guide can be arranged for fishing enthusiasts. This service is at an extra cost.

If your preference is for a down-to-earth lodge with some creature comforts and friendly service thrown into the mix, Imbabala is the place for you.
This is not a fancy new-age-breed of bush lodge, but a place where personal service is the order of the day, and you will come away feeling as though you have been looked after by attentive friends.

Imbabala is about 80 kms from Victoria Falls town so while its close enough for a day trip it's a bit too far if you want to do a town based activity each day.
It works perfectly in combination with a 'town' hotel so that you get a safari and a Vic Falls experience.
