The main area of the lodge houses the lounge dining and bar area.
The chalets face onto the Zambezi River and it's not uncommon for elephants and other wildlife to be seen in and around the lodge.

At Imbabala the animals come to you whilst you drift along the Zambezi in a specially designed pontoon, sit quietly in a hide on the floodplain
Game drives in open game viewing vehicle within the concession are undertaken an armed, professional guide.
The birding is unequalled , due to overlaps of certain species from the not too distant Okavango Delta and the variety of habitats along the river.
Chobe National Park is only a couple of kilometres from the lodge. Day safaris into Chobe National Park can be arranged.
Fishing on this stretch of the Upper Zambezi can be very rewarding. Species include Tiger fish, Bream and Talapia.
The services of a specialist fishing guide can be arranged for fishing enthusiasts. This service is at an extra cost.
