The lodge has nine thatched rooms which are individually inspired and decorated, including two honeymoon suites which are set into the huge boulders. These two suites have been recently refurbished and are known as the “The Lobengula Suite� and “The Rhodes Suite�.
The public areas of the lodge are carved into the hillside and have a magnificent visa over the surrounding hills. Meals are served at a magnificent teak Railway Sleeper table within the covered open air dining room.
Additional facilities at Camp Amalinda include:

Game viewing: The Matopas National park is home to the largest concentration of leopard in Zimbabwe. In addition there are heathly populations of black and white rhino which can be seen on a walking safari or on a game drive. San Art: There are more than 2000 sites of the San (Bushmen) tribes and is a rich source of San rock art, many of which hold significant spirital significance of rituals once held here. History comes to life: Visit the world famous tomb of Cecil John Rhodes at View of the World. The view is truly spectacular and a worthy reward after a strenuous walk! Cultural experiences: Visit an Ndebele homestead. Enjoy the gracious hospitality of the local people, visit the rural clinic and local primary school and even visit a traditional healer.
