The bar and dining area is set on a deck overlooking the Kapani Lagoon. According to the season, dining is al fresco with dinner taken on the terrace, on the spacious deck, by the swimming pool or in the lounge. Private dinners can also be arranged for guests.
A thatched building in the centre of the camp houses the lounge and library. It is pleasantly cool in the hot weather and warm and cosy in the cooler months with an open fire. Here you will find some of the early books written by Norman Carr and his wife.
Kapani accommodates just twenty guests and is open throughout the year.
Eight standard suites have their own lounge with bar fridge and the beds have overhead fans inside their walk-in mosquito nets.
Two spacious Lagoon Houses have private views making these a perfect honeymoon location.
The camp runs on mains electricity

The wildlife in the area around Kapani is excellent with all the major species to be found with the park. If you haven't seen a leopard in the wild then a safari in South Luangwa would almost definately be the place to rectify this. Kapani offers game activities twice a day that include game drives and safari walks with highly experienced and trained guides, that are accompanied by an armed game scout.
If your mission is to relax and miss some of the game activities, then the swimming pool at Kapani is a great place to unwind.
