Kasaka Lodge is situated in a natural bush environment with each chalet secluded amongst the indigenous flora.
The bar, deck and library, tucked away amongst huge Tamarind trees are a great place to relax and unwind and to take in the complete quiet of this unspoilt part of the world.
The thatched dining area over looks the Zambezi river. Its here that guests enjoy dining under the stars.
Kasaka's swimming pool is situated on the manicured side of the lodge, overlooking the Zambezi River. Sun loungers, large sunshades and two hammocks are available to guests to enjoy.
Accommodation at Kasaka: Kasaka accommodates up to 22 people in a variety of accommodation options. The rooms are decorated with an African flavour and include en suite facilties
Their are 8 luxury chalets, a honeymoon suite, a family chalet as well the private Acacia suite which has its own own deck and central boma and informal covered outdoor lounge area. This suite would suit families or groups of friends travelling together.
Guests have the option of staying on the "tame" (manicured) side near the swimming pool or the "wild" (bushy) side of the lodge which is connected to the lodge by way of walkways which allows the free passage of game around the lodge.

FISHING: The Lower Zambezi is renowned for it's excellent fishing particularly for Africa's game fish, the Tiger Fish, which can reach 15kg and giant catfish,the Vundu, that can reach well over 50kg!
The lodge has experienced guides who will take you to all the best fishing spots and can cater for complete beginners or professional fisherman.
The lodge provides basic fishing equipment but it does not supply lures.
Serious anglers are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment.
The best time of year to catch a Tiger is from September through to November.
Fishing is on a strict catch and release basis to comply with local wildlife regulations. Other fish species of interest are the Three Spot Bream, Red Breasted Bream, Nile Bream, Chessa, Nkupi, Bottlenose and the Cornish Jack.
GAME DRIVES: The Lower Zambezi National Park is home a large variety of wildlife: herds of elephant and buffalo, frequent sightings of lion and leopard as well an array of plains game. Kasaka offers its guests early morning and late afternoon drives in open top Land Rovers. Evening drives include a stop for sundowners and snacks!
RIVER CRUISES: Game cruises on the Zambezi River are a great way to see the local wildlife and the traditional way to end the perfect African day. Kasaka has three pontoon boats to take guests on river safaris.
