Nanzhila Plains Camp has been built to make the most of the tranquil surroundinga and the accommodation has been built to blend discreetly into the undergrowth.
The four comfortably decorated chalets are spacious with en-suite facilities and fantastic views over the surrounding area.
Getting to Nanzhila: The easiest way is via charter from Livingstone or Lusaka but if you are up for adventure, self drive guests can reach the lodge via Livingstone, Kolomo and Dumdumwedzi gate.(Long and interesting!) We can arrange a road transfer from Livingstone but guests should be aware the drive is about 7 - 8 hours. |

The southern area of the Kafue has healthy populations of a variety of interesting antelope species including Roan and Sable, Reedbuck, Defassa Waterbuck, Oribi, Hartebeest and Eland as well as all the major preditors including the resident black maned lion and strong populations of wild dog and cheetah. The southern area of Kafue also has large populations of buffalo and wildebeest.
The Kafue is a bird lovers paradise with over 500 species recorded. Sightings can almost be guaranteed of the endemic Black-cheeked Lovebird, the Wattled Crane, Ground Hornbill and Saddle-billed Stork.
The lodge offers game drives, night drives and safari walks.
