There are a number of accommodation options available at Barra Lodge
~ Casitas: Traditonal reed and thatch casitas in two bedded and family configurations (sleeps 4) mostly have sea views and are all close to the beach.
~ Self catering cottages with two or three bedrooms, open plan living area, kitchen, shower and hand-basin with hot and cold water and a separate toilet. The bedrooms each have 2 beds (with mosquito nets) allowing a total of 6 guests to enjoy a cottage. All the basic amenities are supplied including a fridge/freezer, 2 plate gas stove, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, utensils and bed linen. The cottages are serviced daily.

Fly in guests: LAM airlines flies to Inhambane from Johannesburg from O.R Tambo Johannesburg Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays and Sundays.
Self drive Barra Lodge is situated 485km north of Maputo. The road from Maputo is tarred road with a sand road on the last 7kms leading to the lodge which can be negotiated in a normal vehicle
