The activity centre at Indigo Bay resort is the base for a host of Mozambique island-based activities, such as scuba diving, deep sea fishing, snorkelling and water-skiing.

Guests simply wanting to relax can relax around the beautiful swimming pools, drink cocktails (ask for a caiparinha!) at the wet bar, or while away time at the beach snack bar.

For the ultimate indulgence try the ultra-luxurious Sanctuary Spa which offers a range of pampering treatments.

FISHING:
The Bazaruto Archipelago offers some of the most spectacular fishing in the world. Unspoilt and little explored, the Indian Ocean here with its deep Mozambique Channel harbours some of the world's most exciting game fish - species such as Kingfish, Queenfish, Barracuda, Mackerel and Yellowfin Tuna. Recreational and specialist fishermen are increasingly attracted to the Bazaruto Archipelago to try their hand at luring legendary species such as Giant Black Marlin, Sailfish or Wahoo. Even novice anglers are sure to be delighted with a catch!
Indigo Bay offers a high quality Mozambique sport-fishing operation so that guests can experience the thrill of fighting one of the giants of the deep or reeling in a variety of game fish. Emphasis is on a tag and release policy.

DIVING:

The protected Bazaruto Marine National Park is a scuba diver's paradise, with crystal-clear waters and a range of dazzling soft coral ridges and reefs to explore. A host of exciting dives can be experienced here with reef fish such as snapper and surgeon, as well as potato bass, kingfish, barracuda, manta rays and reef sharks to be seen.  Above the water dolphin are frequently encountered whilst humpback whales can be sighted between August and October and whale sharks between April and July.

Leatherback, loggerhead and green turtles are often seen in the water, coming ashore to lay their eggs on Bazaruto's sandy beaches. You may also be lucky enough to see a rare dugong - part of the largest viable breeding population in the western Indian Ocean.

PADI Instructors and Dive Masters are a minimum standard for diving staff at Indigo Bay Resort.
