The twelve twin bedded luxury tents are under thatch and set in raised wooden with views of the Savute Channel.
Each tent has its own lavish en suite bathroom and dressing areas as well a private deck furnished with comfortable furnish for the perfect afternoon of relaxation and game watching or for enjoying a private dinner under the stars.
The tents have every comfort including a fully stocked mini bar (drinks are included in the rate) four poster bed complete with mosquito netting, in-room safes as well as quiet discreet air conditioning.
All the tents, main areas of the lodge as well as the swimming pool overlook the adjacent water hole, so it's not uncommon to see a wide variety of birds and animals from the privacy of your own tent.

The Savuti is a fantastic area to see large concentration of elephant and lions - in fact it's not uncommon to see prides of up to 40 members.
All the other major predators; the endangered wild dog, leopard, cheetah and the hyena can be seen and the Savute is also renowned for its excellent birding during the summer months (December through March).
Morning and late afternoon game drives are offered in open safari game vehicles. As Savute lies with the Chobe National Park night drives and walks are prohibited.
The summer months (December through March) are excellent birding months as all the migrant species arrive in the Delta.
Very rare rock paintings drawn by the early San Bushmen, who once inhabited the region can also be viewed. |
