The Linyanti swamps lie in the top north west corner of Chobe National Park. Often overlooked in favour of the better known Botswana parks, the Linyanti has a varied and plentiful array of wildlife, especially in the dry months when large concentrations of buffalo, zebra and elephant collect along the the riverbank.

Linyanti is reached by light aircraft. There are a number of luxury safari camps which lie within the hugee private concessions bordering the national park.
